Obituary: Eileen D. Fox, 76, of Newtown

NEWTOWN, CT — Eileen D. Fox, age 76, of Newtown, formerly of Trumbull, died Friday, February 1, 2019 in her residence.

Eileen was born in Bridgeport the daughter of the late George and Rose (Heanue) Fox.

Eileen was a retired employee for the Xerox Corporation. She was a longtime member of the Gaelic American Club and a member of their Glee Club. Eileen was a certified Master Gardener. She was a longtime member of St. Stephens RC Church in Trumbull, and a former CCD teacher.

Eileen's greatest joy was hosting her family for birthdays and holidays. She was the favorite aunt to her 14 nieces and nephews, and 25 grandnieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents she was predeceased by a brother, George Fox Jr., and a sister, Mary Ann Kerr. She is survived by her siblings, Robert Fox, of Westport and Martin Fox, of Southport and a sister Elizabeth Hall, of Southbury. Friends are invited to attend her Funeral on Tuesday at 8:45 a.m. from the Larson Funeral Home, 2496 North Ave., Bridgeport and at 10 a.m. at St. Stephens RC Church, Trumbull for a Mass of Christian Burial.
