Obituary: Henry A. Breese, 73, of Sandy Hook
Henry retired from the Rutgers University Dining Services after about 30 years of service.

NEWTOWN, CT --- Henry Breese of Lockwood Lodge, Sandy Hook passed away on Sunday, April 8, 2018 at the age of 73 years old. He was born on October 2, 1944 and lived most of his life in New Brunswick, NJ. He was the son of Abraham and Alice Day Breese.
Henry was a very kind and generous person his entire life. He never owned a car and walked everywhere as a city dweller. His favorite haunts were Dunkin Donuts, Shop-Rite and WalMart. Henry retired from the Rutgers University Dining Services after about 30 years of service. He also volunteered on a part-time basis at the New Brunswick Senior Center for many years. Henry was the landlord of his 2 family home in New Brunswick for many years.
Henry is survived by his brother-in-law, Richard Kovacs and predeceased by his sister, the late Margaret Kovacs of Newtown, CT, sister, Loretta Rivera (John) of Margate, FL, their sons, Fred of Margate, FL and John of New Brunswick, NJ; brothers, Joseph (Fran), Abraham (Marge) and Edward (Barbara) of New Jersey.

He was close to his niece, Wanda McGarry and her daughter, Samantha of Danbury and his nephew, Thomas Kovacs (Maureen) and their daughter, Tierney of Washington. Henry also had many nephews and nieces in New Jersey and Florida. A Funeral Service was held Thursday April 12th at 7:00 p.m. in the Honan Funeral Home.
