NEWTOWN, CT — Karie Marie Peterson-Hinckley, cherished wife of Jonathan F. Hinckley, passed suddenly and unexpectedly into God's hands, way too soon, at the young age of 34, on November 2, 2018.

A loving and talented professional photographer with her own business, Karie Peterson Photography, Karie's positive energy, infectious smile, and deep love of family and friends will be vividly remembered and missed by everyone who knew her.

She was born to Walter and Donnet Peterson on September 28, 1984, and was a beautiful daughter, sister, wife, godmother, mentor and friend to all.

As well as her loving parents, adoring husband and dog Gus, Karie is survived by sisters Christine Lynn Peterson, Amanda Ashley Peterson and her husband Harrison Harner, grandmother Myra "Mimi" Peterson, mother-in-law MaryAnn Hinckley, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and many, many friends.Calling hours will be Wednesday, November 7th from 5-8 p.m. at Green Funeral Home on 57 Main Street in Danbury. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, November 8th at Immanuel Lutheran Church on 18 Clapboard Ridge Rd. in Danbury. After the service, the family invites you to a memorial celebration held in honor of Karie in the Community Life Center at Immanuel Lutheran Church. All are welcome.If desired and in lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Immanuel Lutheran Church in Danbury, CT in Karie's name.
