Sue was very proud of her daughters, Ryan Dapo (married to Larry) and Samantha Tanner (married to Zach) and especially her grandchildren, Jackson and Delilah Dapo and Silas Tanner.

She was raised in Newtown, with her brother, Michael Belanger (deceased), and her sisters Nancy Mollica and Doreen Tatroe. Growing up, she spent a great deal of time at the family cottage on Big Pond in Otis, MA. They made countless fond memories with family and friends, including long walks, rifle shooting practice, riding motorcycles and snowmobiles, playing board games and card games, ice skating, water-skiing and often getting into trouble with Michael, Nancy and Doreen!

Over the years Sue worked at many different jobs, including National Semiconductor, CL&P, and the Hi-Way Market. Her most recent and favorite job was driving Bus 4 in Dover, MA for Michael J Connolly Bus Co. She was known to be a strict driver, insisting on respect and safety, but also lots of fun. She always decorated her bus for the holidays and enjoyed creating memories for the kids. She truly loved her job and the children on her bus route.

She enjoyed gardening, cooking, hiking, reading, watching British television shows and time at the beach working on her perfect tan!

Anyone who knew Sue would describe her as resilient, hardworking, sometimes opinionated, always passionate, selfless, and determined, but above all, strong and fiercely independent.

This is the way she will be remembered, strong in both body and spirit.
