Parkland Anti-Gun Violence Protest Tour to Visit Newtown

NEWTOWN, CT -- Students from Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, FL, will make Newtown the final stop on their nation-wide anti-gun violence protest tour this Sunday.

CT Against Gun Violence announced on their Facebook page that the group will meet with Newtown residents on Sunday, August 12, 2-6 p.m.

The group began their trek in Chicago on June 15, registering young people to vote at each stop along their way.

In Newtown on Sunday they will huddle with CT Teens Against Gun Violence, Jr. Newtown Action Alliance and students from schools across the state.
