PD: Intoxicated Newtown Man Drove Into Pole
The accident led to the man's arrest after officers determined he was intoxicated, police said.
Newtown Police arrested a local man after he crashed into a utility pole on Hanover Road.
The accident happened Sept. 18 around 9:30 p.m., police said.
It was determined that Fred Kelley, 51, was intoxicated. He was charged with driving under the influence and failure to properly signal.
