A Newtown man was arrested on an outstanding warrant after he allegedly sexually assaulted a woman at Pub 25 in Newtown.The incident occurred on Oct. 3, police said. Stephen Furphy, 26, of Newtown turned himself in on Jan. 4.Police charged him with fourth-degree sexual assault, second-degree unlawful restraint and breach of peace.He was held in lieu of $25,000 bail and is next scheduled to appear in court on Jan. 15.
