NEWTOWN, CT — A popular Connecticut food truck is opening its first brick-and-mortar restaurant in Newtown next week.

JJ Stacks is set to open Tuesday, April 14, at 71 South Main St, according to owner Joe Attonito.

“Customers can expect a high-energy, fun, family-friendly sports bar vibe, along with a completely unique experience when it comes to the décor and the menu,” Attonito said.

About 95 percent of the menu is made from scratch, according to the business, with an emphasis on working with local vendors for both food and beverage offerings.
