I was under the impression, along with other observant residents, that the prolonged work at the Ram Pasture intersection would result in a a completely modified traffic flow. It appears that after months, years, of construction, detours, many construction workers gazing into holes, along with our valuable law enforcement, that there would be a significant change in traffic flow to alleviate the frequent congestion that results particularly during rush hour. After a recent pave and smoothing over of the work site, it appears that nothing has changed. We are left with 2 lanes that are inadequate the reduce the traffic backlog that is a daily grind for many residents looking to get across town from sugar street. I'm curious what the goal was here and what the expense was to the tax payer. Please educate me.
