Reed Intermediate Students to Open for Tat Holler at Sandy Hook Free Concert

The free concert is on Saturday, May 14 at 7 p.m. and is organized by S.H.O.P. - Sandy Hook Organization for Prosperity.

SANDY HOOK, CT — Are you coming to the Sandy Hook Village concert "Celebrate Sandy Hook?"

The concert is on Saturday, May 14 at 7 p.m. and is organized by S.H.O.P. - Sandy Hook Organization for Prosperity. It is free of charge and will feature the Reed Intermediate School choir opening for the headliner, country music recording artist Tat Holler.

Holler has been performing and writing with some top musicians and recently formed a band to bring music to larger venues.

The concert is being sponsored by Live Nation, 92.5 Country, Frontier, Penn Globe and Coldwell Banker.

"Jeff Wallace, Vice President of Northeast Venue Sales for Live Nation Media & Sponsorship has been instrumental in providing not only the music, but all of the sponsors for this event," S.H.O.P. volunteer Maribeth Hemingway told Patch.

"Jimmy Koplik from Live Nation donated tickets to some upcoming shows which we will be raffling off to benefit S.H.O.P. and our continued community efforts for economic and community development."

Raffle tickets are $10 each for some very special shows at the Xfinity Center in Hartford including Brantley Gilbert, Dierks Bentley, Toby Keith, Greg Allman, ZZ Top and more.

Most Sandy Hook village restaurants will offer specials on the day of the concert, May 14, including Figs Wood Fired Bistro, The Villa Restaurant, The Foundry, Cover Two Sandy Hook, Sandy Hook Deli & Catering and Subway.
