The Ridgefield Symphony Orchestra Celebrates Valentine's Day

Can you feel it? The air is awhir with the fluttering of Cupid’s wings, arrows flying toward the hearts of the unsuspecting... romance is in the air, running amok in fervent anticipation of Valentine’s Day!
Join Guest Conductor Petko Dimitrov and the Ridgefield Symphony Orchestra as they perform three works with the theme of love this most romantic of all weekends, Saturday evening, February 13th, 8:00 pm, at Ridgefield High School’s Anne S. Richardson Auditorium! REDEMPTION THROUGH LOVE features Wagner’s The Flying Dutchman Overture, Schumann’s little-known gem, his Second Symphony, and Rimsky-Korsakov’s audience favorite Scheherazade, a program that is the RSO’s paean to romance and a valentine to our beloved patrons!
And while the snow is lightly falling in Fairfield and Westchester counties today, the forecast for this weekend is clear and cold, but snow free! Warm the heart of your valentine with an evening of world-class music this Saturday evening, a perfect way to celebrate the most romantic days of the year with your one and only!
