The single biggest issue in town is ______, and I plan to do this about it:
controlling development and our roads
Critical differences between me and my opponents:
I have considerable experience in land use. I first served on the Zoning Board of Appeals in 2007 and have been a member of Newtown's P & Z since 2015.
Accomplishments:
I had a successful career with Union Carbide both in Engineering and international licensing. I have been a member of Newtown's P & Z since 2015 and have particular interest and experience analyzing traffic studies.
Other issues:
I want to balance the needs of the community with the desires of developers while maintaining the New England character of Newtown.
What else would you like voters to know about you?
I enjoy fishing, hiking, bicycling, and backcountry skiing and almost any outdoor activity. As a P & Z Commissioner I will consider all the input in order to make the "best" decision relating to Commission matters. I will familiarize myself with each property before making a decision.
