Sandy Hook Elementary School is on schedule to open for the start of the 2016 school year.
Ceilings and windows in parts of the building were installed during October and a variety of other work continues, according to the News-Times.
The original school was closed and demolished in 2013 after the 2012 shooting that left 20 children and six educators dead.
