Sandy Hook School Building Project Wins Several Awards: Report

The new school boasts 23 classrooms and 11 specialty classrooms.

NEWTOWN, CT — The Sandy Hook School building project took home several awards at the Real Estate Exchange's annual Blue Ribbon Awards ceremony, reports the Boston Real Estate Times.

According to the report STV|DPM, the owner's representative for the new school, announced that the project placed first in the best specialty project category for education institutions and was selected as the People's Choice among all of the top winners in their respective industry. The ceremony was held on April 5.

The new Sandy Hook Elementary School was built in 18 months and comes complete with 23 classrooms, 11 specialty classrooms and two treehouse spaces. The school also boasts a state-of-the-art security system.
