Sandy Hook Slain Educators Honored by American Federation of Teachers
The names of the six educators are etched into a plaque that was presented on Tuesday.
The six Sandy Hook School staff members who were killed in the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting were honored Tuesday by the American Federation of Teachers, WNBC CT reports.
The names of the six educators are etched into a plaque that was presented on Tuesday. Rachel D’Avino, Victoria Leigh Soto, Anne Marie Murphy, Lauren Rousseau, Dawn Hochsprung, Mary Sherlach; six educators permanently etched on the hearts of all they touched in the Newtown community and beyond.
The memorial is a collage with a plaque remembering and honoring the educators and is part of a larger tribute to fallen educators at the Hall of Fame of Teachers in Emporia, Kansas.
