Sandy Hook Truther Given Ultimatum in Criminal Case
Matthew Mills is accused of shoving a photo of Sandy Hook shooting victim Vicki Soto in her sister's face at a charity event last year.
Sandy Hook "truther" Matthew Mills was given an ultimatum in his criminal case related to an incident at the Vicki Soto 5k in Stratford.
Mills has been offered a one-year suspended plea deal with two years probation and an order to stay away from the Soto family, according to the Connecticut Post.
Mills will have until April 18 to decide whether to take the plea deal or take his case to trial.

Police said Mills shoved a photograph of Vicki Soto, a victim of the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting, in her sister’s face at the November charity run and said the shooting incident was a hoax.
Victoria Soto was one 26 people killed during the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting in December 2012. Six educators and 20 children died during the massacre. Soto has been credited with protecting her students during the incident.

The race is held annually to raise money for the Vicki Soto Memorial Fund. Soto died during the December 2012 Sandy Hook school shooting.
