WASHINGTON— Today, U.S. Senator Chris Murphy (D-Conn.) will deliver a speech on the floor of the U.S. Senate to mark two years since the tragic shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Connecticut. Murphy will honor those who lost their lives, highlight the progress that has been made to curb gun violence since the tragedy, and discuss the Newtown community’s strength and resolve through the healing process.
