Sharon Burch, Lifelong Resident of Sandy Hook, Passed Away

Sharon Louise (Shepard) Burch, 52, lifelong resident of Sandy Hook, passed away peacefully on July 14, 2014 surrounded by her husband, children and extended family.

She is survived by her husband of 30 years, George William Burch; son, George David Burch, daughter Kelly Louise Burch and fiancé Steven Mead, daughter, Katie Lee Burch; grandchildren, Mylah Marilyn Burch and Shane Mead, her father, Charles E. Shepard; her brothers and their wives; Chuck and Cathy Shepard; Alan and Linda Shepard and Kevin and Patricia Shepard. She is also survived by her in-laws, many nieces, nephews, aunts, cousins as well as extended family and friends. She was preceded by her mother, Marilyn Louise Shepard (Houle) and in-laws David and Joyce Burch.

Friends may call on Sunday July 20, 2014 at the Honan Funeral Home, 58 Main St., Newtown, from 2:00 p.m to 5:00 p.m.
