For fifty-two years, The Society of Creative Arts of Newtown (SCAN) has been a nonprofit arts organization from Western Connecticut and surrounding areas. Their goal is to support artists and promote the visual arts in a variety of mediums including: watercolor, oil, acrylic, mixed media and sculpture.
