Summer Carnival Returns To Newtown

NEWTOWN, CT — The town Parks and Recreation Department Summer Carnival will return August 17-20.

Carnival times are 6-10 p.m. all nights except Aug. 20, when the fun will run from 5 p.m. until 10 p.m.

Admission to the carnival grounds at the Fairfield Hills Campus on Keating Farms Avenue in Newtown in free. Unlimited ride wristbands will be available for $30. Tickets for individual rides may also be purchased.

There will be plenty of food trucks on hand, including Crazy Taco Mex, Lucky Dog World's Famous Hot Dogs, Rich's Wings & Things, Nutmeg Concessions Fried Dough, and Weenie Lynn's (Saturday only).
