Tree Work To Continue In Newtown For Next 6 Months
The cutting will address the top 100 outage areas and begin on Castle Hill by King Street.
NEWTOWN, CT — The town tree warden has advised residents that work will begin Wednesday trimming trees to minimize the chance of them dropping power lines.
Stanley Tree Company will be doing the tree work on behalf of power utility Eversource. The work will begin on Wednesday, and continue for approximately six months.
The cutting will address the top 100 outage areas and begin on Castle Hill by King Street and continue to Great Hill to Plumtrees at the Bethel town line, according to a notification from the tree warden's office.
