Trinity Day School Announces Start of Year

Editor's Note: Trinity Day School will soon begin its school year. Parents received the following notice regarding a delay in the parent orientation schedule:

To all Trinity Day School families, Parent Orientation on 9/6 postponed.

Welcome to the 2011-12 school year!

Trinity Day School will begin on time as scheduled. The only change we are making is to the Parent Orientation. It will not be held on Tuesday, September 6th, but will be held, informally, during the days that your student is scheduled for their one hour visit alone:

• 4 Day 4s – Friday, Sept. 9th at 9am or 11:15am
• 4s am reg & extended – Monday, Sept.12 at 9am or 10:30am
• 4s pm – Monday, Sept. 12 at 12:30pm or 2pm
• 3 day 3s - Monday, Sept. 12 at 9am or 10:30am
• 2s – Monday, Sept. 12 at 9:30am or 11:00 (after you and your child have visited class for 1/2hr.)
• 3s reg & extended – Tuesday, Sept. 13 at 9am or 10:30am

You may drop your students off in the classroom and then come down to the “Big Room” (siblings welcome) for coffee or tea , meet the Board of Directors, browse by the informational tables and pick up flyers, etc about our school.

Look for some fun activities scheduled in September and October. TDS t-shirts will also be on sale during this time.

We apologize for any inconvenience this change may cause you. September 6th is the new first day of school for Newtown Public school students and we know you’ll want to spend the evening with your children.

Please do not hesitate to contact me if you cannot come to the daytime orientation and I will gather information for you and answer any questions you may have. Thank you for your understanding and we look forward to a fun, exciting school year together.
