Volunteers Sought For 2 Newtown Commissions

NEWTOWN, CT — Newtown officials are looking for resident volunteers to fill vacancies on two town commissions, First Selectman Dan Rosenthal announced.

The Commission on Aging has one alternate vacancy available to a Democrat or unaffiliated voter, and the Conservation Commission has a vacancy also available to a Democrat or unaffiliated voter.

Those interested in either position are asked to submit letters of interest and resumes to susan.marcinek@newtown-ct.gov by Feb. 18.
