Will Whamond, 46, Passed Away Unexpectedly
Sandy Hook resident Will Whamond, bass player, entrepreneur, member of Walnut Hill Community Church, passed away on Friday.

SANDY HOOK, CT — William J Whamond (Will) went home to be with the Lord on Friday, May 13, 2016.
Will was born in Port Chester New York on Dec 26, 1969. He graduated from Bethel High School in 1987 and is a graduate from WestConn, with a degree in History.
Will owned his own painting business and loved tinkering and fixing everything.

He loved his family and was a very active server and member at Walnut Hill Community Church, where he played bass, his passion since childhood, in the worship band.
His loving wife Beth, stepchildren Gabrielle and Jack Olexovitch survive Will, his mother Celeste Dumas Whamond, his father William E. Whamond and step-mother Deloris Whamond, sister Elizabeth Whamond and Ian Goudelocke, brother Keith Whamond and his wife Diana and daughter Tegan, niece Rebekah Whamond several Aunts , Uncles, cousins, and beloved and faithful cat Mocha.

There will be no calling hours. A memorial service will be held at Walnut Hill Community Church, 156 Walnut Hill Road, Bethel, Conn. on Tuesday, May 17, 2016 at 2 p.m.
In lieu of flowers a donation can be made to Walnut Hill Community Church.
