Winning CT Scratch-Off Lottery Ticket Sold In Sandy Hook
A local resident also is the lucky winner, according to the Connecticut Lottery.
NEWTOWN, CT — A Sandy Hook resident is $10,000 richer this week after claiming a winning lottery ticket she purchased locally, the Connecticut Lottery announced.
On Tuesday, Margery Booth claimed a winning "10X Cash 15th Edition" ticket she purchased at the Newtown Mobile on Church Hill Road.
The game, which costs $10 per ticket, began in May 2021, and as of Wednesday, 47 grand prizes of $10,000 remained unclaimed.

More than 5.2 million tickets have been printed, and the overall odds of winning are 1 in 3.95.
