Years Later, Missing Newtown Man Found Dead In NY: Police
Newtown man Robert Hoagland, missing since 2013, was found dead in New York. Police say he was living under a new name.

NEWTOWN, CT — A Newtown man who disappeared in July 2013 has turned up dead in New York after living under an assumed name, according to police.
Robert Hoagland was found dead in a home in Rock Hill, NY on Monday. The Sullivan County Sheriff's Office contacted the Newtown PD on Tuesday, after a search turned up papers identifying Hoagland, and an investigation connected him with the nearly decade-old missing person case.
The cause of Hoagland's death is pending an autopsy, but there were no signs of foul play, according to police. Hoagland had been living under the name Richard King in Sullivan County since around November 2013.
