On Your Mark: 14th Annual Newtown Turkey Trot To Benefit Booth Library

This Annual Newtown Turkey Trot has annually attracted over 1200 participants.

NEWTOWN, CT — Runners may choose between a 5K run and a 2.5K fitness walk when they sign up for The 14th Annual Newtown Turkey Trot to benefit the C. H. Booth Library.

This community event has annually attracted over 1200 participants in recent years and will start and finish from Newtown Middle School (11 Queen Street) following the routes introduced in 2019. The 5K route follows a USTF certified route (CT19019JHP), while the walk uses a shorter segment of the same route. A map of the course is available online here.

Race entry is by advance online registration. Online registration will be available up to race day. Registration must be complete by 7:00 a.m. on race day.

Race check-in, bib and t-shirt collection at C. H. Booth Library on Nov. 21 between 4:00 and 7:30 p.m., and Nov. 22 between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.

Race check-in and bib pickup (but not t-shirt collection) will be available between 6:30 and 7:15 a.m. on the morning of the race.
