North Branford's mayor talks about open communication between the Board of Ed and the Town Council, staying safe for Halloween and fall fun!
North Branford Patch: What's new in town?
Mayor Anthony Candelora: Interim Town Manager Bonnie Therrien has helped institute a Communication Committee comprised of Town Council members and Board of Education Members which meets once a month to keep the lines of communication open and discuss issues concerning both the town and schools. We have had our first meeting which was held at Town Hall. The Meeting will alternate back and forth from schools to town buildings giving both parties the insight on a variety of issues.
North Branford Patch: What's something residents need to know?
Mayor Anthony Candelora: Residents should know Halloween is around the corner. I have always enjoyed hearing the laughter and the children in their costumes coming to our home. Please be careful – especially on the side roads. Residents that are out driving that night take extra care there will be many families out that night. I hope everyone has a safe and wonderful time!

Mayor Anthony Candelora: I can’t remember the last time I wore a costume, however, I did enjoy carving pumpkins. Joan and I would get several and try to be creative. Here is one that we did – enjoy! HAPPY HALLOWEEN!
