• Parts of North Branford still flooded after heavy rain (wtnh.com) — Flooding in North Branford left several roads still closed Sunday night, with pooled rainwater blocking side streets and disrupting travel. Volunteers at the Branford Compassion Club animal rescue scrambled to keep water from entering the building, while residents along Foxon Road reported cars getting stuck in deep water as the storm hit town hard.
