Sept. 24

John Joseph Ferraro, 49, of North Branford, was charged with violation of a protective order.

Sept. 25

John Edward Abeleira, 39, of Meriden, was charged with possession of a controlled substance/third offense and use of drug paraphernalia.

Sept. 26

Nischal Rana, 43, of North Branford, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
