Frank T. Baldo, 79, of North Branford passed away January 25, 2011 in the Masonic Care Health Center. Husband of the late Marie Cozzo Baldo. Father of Anita Baldo DeAngelo and her husband Ron Godbey of Wallingford, Stefan Baldo of North Branford and the late Frank E. Baldo. Grandfather of Kara, Jamie, Frank T., Michael, Robert John and Stefan. Son of the late Elio and Adeline Sandella Baldo. Brother of the late Lucille Pacelli. Brother-in-law of Nicholas F. Pacelli and uncle of Gina Thomas and Nicole Park.
Frank was a CT State Marshal and prior to that was the owner of the former Foxon Venice Bakery for 50 years. He served on the Democratic Town Committee for the Town of North Branford for many years, was Past President of the Taxpayers Association and a former Police Commissioner. Frank was Past President (2004-05) of the New Haven County Marshal's Association and a Navy veteran of the Korean Conflict where he served on the destroyer USS Willard Keith.
His funeral procession will leave the PORTO FUNERAL HOME, 234 Foxon Rd. (Rte 80) East Haven Saturday morning at 9:00. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Our Lady of Pompeii Church at 9:30. Interment with military honors will follow in All Saints Cemetery. Friends may call FRIDAY from 5:00-8:00 PM.
