North Branford Resident Cochrane Passes

Paul Vincent Cochrane, 77, of North Branford, beloved husband of Patricia Slavin Cochrane died Tuesday, January 4, 2011, at Connecticut Hospice.
Born in Waltham, MA February 26, 1933. Paul completed his Bachelor's Degree at Fairfield University, and earned his Master's Degree at Southern Connecticut State University. Paul served with the 8th Army in Korea. Mr. Cochrane had taught Mathematics at Wilbur Cross High School for over 37 years. He loved his family, mathematics, and woodworking.
Besides his wife Patricia, Paul is survived by his children, Paul of Euliss, TX, William of North Haven, Matthew of Clinton, John of Guilford, and Christine of Bethel, CT and grandchildren, Emily, Haley, Cassandra, Travis, Riley, Ian, and Alisandra. He also leaves his sisters, Janet Barrows of Cheshire, Carol Santamauro of Hamden, Romily Cofrancesco of Harwinton, CT, and Patricia Lawes of Delaware.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Augustine Church, Saturday morning at 10:00. Gifts in Paul's memory can be made to Connecticut Hospice in Branford. The Keenan Funeral Home, 330 Notch Hill Road, North Branford has been entrusted with arrangements.
