Arrest Made After Fatal Motorcycle Accident In North Branford: PD
The arrest was announced Monday. The accident occurred back in April of 2018, police said.
NORTH BRANFORD, CT — A Madison man was arrested on a warrant Monday and charged in connection to a fatal accident that occurred in April 2018 in North Branford, police said. On April 24, 2018 North Branford Police and Fire departments responded to a fatal motor vehicle accident at the intersection of Foxon Road and Totoket Road.
North Branford Police and the South Central Regional Traffic Unit investigated this fatal motor vehicle accident. On Monday, members of the North Branford Police Department, assisted by Madison Police Department responded to a location in Madison and arrested Teofilo Cabrera, police said.
Cabrera is charged with negligent homicide with a motor vehicle and failure to drive a reasonable distance apart. Cabrera was held on a $75,000 court set bond and will appear in court today.

The victim, Samuel Desenti of North Branford, was the motorcyclist killed in the crash.
