Bank Robbery Suspect Sought By North Branford Police
A bank was robbed Saturday and police are searching for the suspect.

NORTH BRANFORD, CT — Police are investigating the robbery of a TD Bank located at 1289 Foxon Road on Saturday morning.
At 10:16 a.m. police responded to the bank robbery call. The male suspect was wearing a blue sweatshirt and a tan hat, and he fled the area on foot, police said. He handed the teller a note stating he had a gun and demanded $1,500; however, no weapon was displayed, police said.
North Branford Police were assisted by East Haven, Branford, Guilford, and the Connecticut State Police departments during the investigation. "We don’t believe there is any danger to the community as a result of this incident," North Branford police said.

Connecticut Banker's Reward Association is offering a $500 reward for information leading to the arrest of the individual responsible for the bank robbery.
