The Bergantino Family Celebrates 25 Years of Agway!
The Bergantino's plan on spending their anniversary the same way as always, achieving the best service and satisfaction for their customers.
When John Bergantino and his father, Michael, looked at an empty plot of land in North Branford in 1990, they envisioned a strip mall that would be home to their new Agway Garden, Nursery and Pet Supply Center and several other businesses. Today, 25 years later, Agway of North Branford occupies the entire 20,000 square foot building. John and his brother Terry, who joined them soon after opening the business, manage a team of over 120 employees in six Connecticut Agway stores. You will find their myAgway stores in North Branford, North Haven, Middlefield, Manchester, Bethel and Southington.
Over the years, myAgway have evolved their original lawn & garden and farm focus to expanded pet food & supplies and wild bird departments. They pride themselves on exceptional product selection while offering competitive pricing. Their friendly and helpful staff has expert knowledge and advice on brands you know and trust. As John states, “One foot inside a Bergantino Agway store and you know immediately this is a place where great service and value pricing co-exist.”
The Bergantino family values create an atmosphere in every store that’s sole focus is to deliver the highest quality customer experience. You can find John’s son, Michael, in the North Branford store and his nephew, Jeremy, in North Haven. In the office, you will find Pamela, Terry’s daughter, handling marketing for the stores and Nancy, John and Terry’s sister, involved in the bookkeeping.
