BHcare's Community Day of Connection Brings Families Together for Free Celebration Sept. 12

NORTH BRANFORD, CT — BHcare invites community members of all ages to attend the Community Day of Connection, a free family-friendly event designed to celebrate the strength, spirit, and connectedness of the community.

The event will take place on Saturday, Sept. 12, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at BHcare, 28 Branford Road, North Branford.

A rain date has been scheduled for Sunday, Sept. 13.

Community Day of Connection will feature a variety of activities and resources for attendees, including:
• Arts and crafts
• Family games, face painting and activities
• Pizza, popcorn, and cotton candy
• Community resource fair
• Opportunities for neighbors, families, and community partners to connect and build
relationships
• Tours of BHcare

The event is free and open to the public.

"Community Day of Connection is an opportunity to bring people together in a welcoming environment where families can enjoy activities, learn about local resources, and strengthen the connections that make our community thrive," said Melissa Simoni, Director of Development & Marketing.

The event is hosted by BHcare and made possible through the generous support of presenting sponsors Branford Community Foundation, Guilford Foundation, and Ascend Bank. Through their shared commitment to strengthening communities and enhancing quality of life for local residents, these organizations are helping foster connection, engagement, and access to valuable community resources.

Community members are encouraged to attend and enjoy an afternoon of fun, connect with local resources, and enjoy an afternoon of family-friendly fun.
