Blue Jay Drive Section Closure Began Tuesday, Continues 1-2 Days: PD

NORTH BRANFORD, CT — Police posted to Facebook to let folks know that beginning Tuesday and lasting at east another day or two, a portion of Blue Jay Drive will be closed "due to a sewer line issue."

The repair work necessitates "an interruption to pick up and drop off locations of students who reside in this area. If you are one of those students the school will be contacting you with alternative bus drop off and pickup locations," police said.

Police said that, "Unfortunately due to the location of this sewer pipe these measures must be taken."

"This closure will not impact access to any resident's driveway at this time, but may require alternative routes to your residence," police noted.
