Victory Strikes Again for The North Branford Hockey Team!!!!!!!!

North Branford T-Birds hockey edged Suffield/Granby/Windsor Locks  in overtime 2-1, Brendan Appi and Alec Martone scored goals. The T-Birds currently stand at a record of 11-4-1. Kyle Saroka had many great saves for the T-Birds. Alec Martone, Dylan Podbielski and Mark Russo led the team offensively. Defensively Kris Marra,Nik Castaldi, Nick Johnson, and Brendan Appi did a great job keeping the opponent out of our zone. The game was tied and went into overtime, in overtime Alec Martone scored the winning goal.

The T-Birds take on Milford Coop, Monday February 18th at 6:00pm at the  Milford Ice Pavilion this is a SCC conference game, the T-Birds currently stand at 3-1 in the SCC conference. Milford Coop has a record of 9-7. The T-Birds have previously played this team earlier in the season and came out with a victory. The T-Birds are looking to earn another victory for the SCC.

The T-Birds have 4 regular season games left, Wednesday February 20th is the T-Birds senior night they are playing Newtown at 6:00pm at the Northford Ice Pavilion.
