Eight to the Bar Celebrates 50 Years at Toad's Place Thur, Aug 28!

Join us Thursday, August 28 for an unforgettable night at Toad’s Place (300 York St., New Haven, CT) as Eight to the Bar celebrates 50 incredible years with a once-in-a-lifetime show!

The show opens with the original 1975 lineup -the group that started it all the very same year that Toad’s Place opened its doors! This 8-piece band will play a lively set of Western Swing and country, featuring a dynamic female vocal trio, boogie woogie piano, pedal steel, and a show-stopping cowboy frontman.

Then, take a musical leap to the present as the current Eight to the Bar lineup, recently voted Best CT Band 2024, hits the stage with their vocally-oriented swing, boogie-woogie, and jump blues, joined by Collin Tilton, the original sax/flute player from Van Morrison’s “Moondance”.
