Carrying The Torch: North Branford Police Department Participating in Thursday's Special Olympics Torch Run
The run begins at Saint Monica's Church, travels through the center of Northford, continues along Route 22, and finishes at Honeywell.

NORTH BRANFORD, CT — Thursday at 8 a.m., members of the North Branford Police Department will proudly participate in the Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics Connecticut.
The run begins at Saint Monica’s Church, travels through the center of Northford, continues along Route 22, and finishes at Honeywell. There, North Haven Police Department officers will take over the torch and continue the run.
Motorists should expect minor traffic delays along the route during this time.

"We encourage everyone to come out, wave, cheer, and show your support as our officers carry the Flame of Hope through town," the police department shared on Facebook. "Thank you for supporting the athletes of Special Olympics and helping make this event a success."
