Compassion Counts: A Shoreline Community Forum
The forum's goal is to explore mental wellness and is open to shoreline residents and anyone interested in attending.

Compassion Counts: A Shoreline Community Forum will take place from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 29, at Westbrook High School, 156 McVeagh Rd., Westbrook.
Panelists at the free event are:
- C. Squitiero, a mother whose son is recovering from drug and alcohol abuse
- B. Allen, a professional recovering from drug and alcohol abuse
- Dr. Lisa Donovan, child and adolescent psychiatrist
- Alicia Farrell, Ph.D., cognitive psychologist and daughter of a suicide victim
- Robert W. Plant, Ph.D., senior vice-president of ValueOptions, a CT Behavioral Health partnership
Light refreshments will be served. The snow date is Feb. 3, at the same time and place.
