HEBRON, CT — Elizabeth Everett, 50, was found not guilty of manslaughter Thursday in connection with the killing of RHAM Middle School teacher Dawn Mallory, 65, in Hebron in March 2014, reports Fox61 News.

However, Everett was found guilty on multiple counts of misconduct while driving, a felony, and unsafe backing. State police said Everett backed over Mallory in the school's parking lot.

A trooper smelled alcohol on Everett's breath at the time, and afterward she was determined to have a blood alcohol content of 0.07 percent, which is just under the legal limit.
