Digging Out: Town Of North Branford Shares Storm Update

NORTH BRANFORD, CT — The town has posted a winter storm update for the community.

"We are grateful to our partners at North Branford Public Works, who have been working nonstop throughout this storm to keep our community safe. At this time, all town roads are open, however road conditions remain slippery and icy due to continued light snowfall. Motorists are urged to slow down, increase following distance, and remain alert while traveling.

In the coming hours and days, residents may observe large DPW equipment operating near roadways and intersections as crews work to clear snow banks and improve sight lines. Please use extra caution around this machinery and give crews the space they need to safely perform their work.
The parking ban remains in effect until 6:00 PM this evening and may be extended if additional accumulation occurs.
