From 1938 to 1954, the town rented space in the first Fire Company Engineer, Nate Harrison's, service station on North St.Our building was constructed in 1954 on land donated from the New Haven Trap Rock Quarry, now Tilcon. All construction materials and costs were covered by a lengthy fundraising effort. When the building was completed in 1954, it would remain unchanged until the 1970s when the bay door arrangement was modified to account for more equipment. In 1989, the company began a large fundraising campaign again, this time to build an addition to house the new Tower 1, the town's first aerial device. All of this was done with fundraising and the community's direct support. Your donation today will go to help us complete several ongoing projects around the property.

"We have always been treated well by our residents and the visitors to our town," the firefighter membership wrote. "We deeply appreciate any and all support you provide us."
