North Branford’s Hometown Day at HazWaste Central

Dispose household hazardous waste safely without leaving your car. A partial list of acceptable items include: aerosols, household batteries, cleaners, gasoline, oil-based paints, thinners, varnish, antifreeze, auto batteries, motor oil (clean & used), pesticides, fertilizers, poisons, moth balls, swimming pool chemicals, fluorescent bulbs (incl CFLs), mercury containing items and small (1 lb) propane cylinders.

Not acceptable: latex paint, gas-grill size propane tanks or electronics.
