The Original Branford Scouts: Youth Focused for their Future

Branford Scouts - On The Town Green

Why Join Us? Because every child deserves a nurturing place to grow. At Troops 6424 and 424, we don’t just teach survival skills—we nurture life skills. Our Scouts gain confidence, leadership, and resilience while forming friendships that last a lifetime. We teach diligence and healthy work ethic. Scouting is Adventure with Purpose - From campfires and community service to knot-tying and kindness, each activity is a stepping stone toward building character. We offer a safe, inclusive space where kids can discover who they are and who they want to become. Belonging Starts Here - Whether your family is new to Scouting or seasoned pros, you’ll feel right at home. We’re a welcoming crew of mentors, youth, and parents who support one another—no pressure, no judging, no yelling, just encouragement, growth, and fun. Real Skills. Real Impact. - Scouts don’t just earn badges—they earn confidence, problem-solving abilities, achieving their goals, and leadership that extends far beyond the troop. This is preparation for life —and we mean every word. All Ages, All Adventures We welcome boys and girls from kindergarten through high school, whether they’re exploring nature, learning new skills, or forming lasting friendships, Scouts thrive in a supportive community that cheers them on at every step. Inclusive, Welcoming, United Here, diversity is embraced and every family is met where they are—with open arms and no pressure. Scouting moves at your pace, with zero judgement and full support. Because we're all in this together. Come Join Us! Meetings are held Thursday evenings (one night - all groups!) at Trinity Episcopal Church, right on the Branford Green. Join us and become part of a Branford tradition built on strong values and a commitment to youth development! www.BranfordScouts.Org (The original!)
