Fire Seriously Damages North Branford House

NORTH BRANFORD, CT — A Marjorie Drive home was seriously damaged in a fire Wednesday, according to North Branford police. No injuries were reported.

"We are thankful for the quick response and amazing work of the North Branford Fire Department and all the first responders," police said in a Facebook post. "Their professionalism and rapid deployment of resources not only knocked down the fire in record time but they assisted the residents in exiting the structure. Unfortunately the residence has sustained serious damage and our heart felt sorrow is with the homeowners."
