Firefighters Extinguish Brush Fire At North Branford Home
Firefighters dealt with a blaze in the backyard of a North Branford home on Tuesday night.
NORTH BRANFORD, CT — Firefighters dealt with a brush fire at a North Branford home Tuesday night.
A fire company was dispatched to the 600 block of Forest Road at 10:30 p.m. for a reported brush fire in the backyard.
Shortly after, police units reported a large garage fire heavily involved in the rear of 658 Forest Road. Two additional fire companies were added.

Firefighters established a water supply and later requested mutual aid tankers from Durham and Guilford.
Firefighters gained control of the blaze at 11:35 p.m.

The cause of the fire is under investigation by the North Branford Police Department and North Branford Fire Marshal’s office.
