April 26th - Uprising Mass on New Haven Green followed by breakfast at the Playwright, Hamden.

MASS AND IRISH FLAG RAISING

Sunday, 26th April at 9am.

On Sunday 26th April Father Kelly will celebrate Mass for Peace and a Flag Raising to commemorate the 99thanniversary of the Easter Uprising on the New Haven Green at 9am. Following the Mass there will be a ceremony to honor the Patriots of 1916 and the Hunger Strikers. This annual public ceremony, in its 25th year, serves as a reminder to all ethnic groups that freedom and liberty carry a high price. Local honorees are remembered in a roll call and the original “Proclamation of Freedom” will be read.
