Jane H. Richmond: Retired North Branford Librarian

Jane Holabird Richmond of North Branford, died Sunday, October 4, 2015 at Yale-New Haven Hospital.

Jane was born in New Haven June 12, 1941, daughter of the late Russell and Alice Davis Holabird.

She was a librarian at the Atwater Memorial Library in North Branford for many years until retiring.

Jane is survived by her daughter Janna (Arian) Simpson of Homeland, GA; her grandchildren, Jessica, Andrew and Justin; her great-grandchildren, Juliette, Camilo and Legend; her brother, Douglas Holabird, II of Key West, FL; her sister Dorothy Holabird of Ecuador; her niece Teresa Holabird, with whom she resided along with her three children, George, Abigail and Daniel; and her nephew Douglas (Jennifer) Holabird, III. Jane is also survived by her good friend, Bob Hull.

Funeral services will be held at the convenience of her family. The W. S. Clancy Memorial Funeral Home, 244 North Main St., Branford, is in charge of arrangements.
